Questions about Spain

Do you have a physical clinic in Spain?

No. In Spain we operate exclusively as an online clinic — there is no physical practice or waiting room to visit. Every appointment takes place over secure video call, from your phone or computer, with the same privacy as an in-person visit. Our registered office sits in Ireland, but the doctors who see you hold registration to practise with patients in Spain. This model lets us offer appointments with greater availability, without travel or waiting rooms, while keeping the same standard of clinical assessment you would get at a traditional practice. If you're looking for an address to visit in person, this isn't the right service for you.

Are your doctors registered in Spain?

Yes. Every doctor seeing patients in Spain is registered with the relevant Colegio Oficial de Médicos for their specialty and province, meeting the same training and licensing requirements as any doctor practising in person in the country. Each doctor's profile on our platform states their registration, so you can check it before booking. Working only with registered doctors is what lets us provide clinical assessments, reports and, where appropriate, prescriptions with the same legal standing as an in-person consultation. If you have questions about a specific doctor's registration, you can email us before your appointment and we'll confirm it.

Does the process work the same way in every comunidad autónoma?

Not always. Public healthcare in Spain is devolved to each comunidad autónoma, so processes like statutory sick leave, the validity of certain certificates, and referral pathways can vary depending on where you live. Our doctors take this into account during your consultation and will point you toward the most appropriate next step for your region, though the public benefit itself is always administered by the INSS and your regional health service. If your situation depends on a specific regional procedure, mention it to the doctor at the start of the consultation so they can advise you accurately.
