Do I need a referral?
No referral is required to book a specialist consultation at Global Health — you can book directly. Some specialists may ask for your GP notes or existing investigations to prepare for the appointment, so having these available is helpful where possible.
Are online specialist consultations valid?
Yes. Consultations are conducted by doctors registered with Irish Medical Council using secure video to national telemedicine standards.
What happens after my consultation?
Following your consultation the specialist will send clinical notes and follow-up guidance to your email. Further investigations or a referral will be arranged where clinically indicated.
