Why online endocrinology is needed in Portugal, now
At the end of 2025, the National Health Service (SNS) had around 1.1 million patients waiting for a first specialist appointment — an increase of 13.6% compared with 2024 — and half of these appointments took place outside the clinically recommended time. A shortage of staff in specific specialties is identified as one of the main factors behind this failure to meet the Guaranteed Maximum Response Times.
Endocrinology is at the centre of this growing demand: diabetes, obesity, thyroid disorders and hormonal imbalances are among the most common chronic conditions in Portugal and require regular, continuous follow-up — exactly the kind of follow-up that teleconsultation makes more accessible and more frequent. There are already private clinics specialising in this remote model, a sign of real and growing demand for remote endocrinology.

The position: Endocrinologist for online consultations
We are looking for licensed endocrinologists practising in Portugal to join our online clinic. Through our platform, you will carry out remote endocrinology consultations with patients across the country, with full flexibility to manage your working model.
- 100% remote — consultations from anywhere, by video, with access to the patient's test results and clinical history
- Flexible hours — choose the hours and days that suit you best
- Main or complementary activity — ideal as a complement to an existing practice or hospital work
- Fully integrated electronic prescriptions — including renewal of chronic medication, with no additional paperwork

Who we are looking for
- A valid professional licence in Portugal (registration with the Ordem dos Médicos)
- Specialisation in Endocrinology and Nutrition
- Experience with telemedicine tools is an advantage (training and onboarding support provided)
- Fluent Portuguese; English is an advantage given our international team, and Spanish, Romanian or Czech are a bonus given our presence in those markets
