How to reach a doctor
Booking a consultation is the fastest route to a doctor; the phone line covers bookings, billing and account questions rather than clinical advice, and is answered in Portuguese and English. For emergencies call 112.
Registration and certificates
Doctors consulting through Global Health Portugal are registered with the Ordem dos Médicos. Certificates are issued by the assessing doctor. Sickness benefit is decided by Segurança Social under its own rules, and driving-licence certificates follow IMT requirements.

Can I visit your Sintra address?
No. The Albarraque address is a registered office, not a walk-in practice. All consultations happen by video call.
Is an atestado from an online consultation accepted?
It is issued by a doctor registered with the Ordem dos Médicos following an assessment. Employers set their own requirements and Segurança Social decides benefit entitlement separately.
Do you issue driving-licence certificates?
Driving-licence certificates follow IMT requirements, which govern what may be assessed remotely. Check the service page for the conditions that apply before booking.
What if I need urgent care?
Global Health is not an emergency service. Call 112 or attend your nearest emergency department.
