Why online gynaecology is needed in Portugal, now
At the end of 2025, the National Health Service (SNS) had around 1.1 million patients waiting for a first specialist appointment, an increase of 13.6% compared with 2024, and in 47.1% of the cases monitored in the second half of 2025 the wait exceeded the Guaranteed Maximum Response Times. Pressure on Gynaecology and Obstetrics services led the Government to centralise units in some regions, such as the Setúbal Peninsula, and to make prior referral through the SNS 24 line mandatory across the country — clear signs of a system under significant pressure.
Gynaecology is also an area where teleconsultation has already proven its value in Portugal, both in the private sector and through growing integration within the SNS itself: gynaecological health follow-up, fertility support, endometriosis treatment, menopause management, pelvic floor health and contraceptive counselling consultations with electronic prescriptions are now common teleconsultation requests.

The position: Gynaecologist for online consultations
We are looking for licensed gynaecologists practising in Portugal to join our online clinic. Through our platform, you will carry out remote gynaecology consultations with patients across the country, with full flexibility to manage your working model.
- 100% remote — consultations from anywhere, by video, with access to the patient's test results and clinical history
- Flexible hours — choose the hours and days that suit you best
- Main or complementary activity — ideal as a complement to an existing practice or hospital work
- Clear referral pathways — defined protocols for immediately referring cases that require in-person or urgent assessment (e.g. significant bleeding, acute pelvic pain)
- Fully integrated electronic prescriptions — including contraception and hormone therapy, with no additional paperwork

Who we are looking for
- A valid professional licence in Portugal (registration with the Ordem dos Médicos)
- Specialisation in Gynaecology and Obstetrics
- Experience with telemedicine tools is an advantage (training and onboarding support provided)
- Fluent Portuguese; English is an advantage given our international team, and Spanish, Romanian or Czech are a bonus given our presence in those markets
