Dr. Luís Infante

General and Family Medicine Physician

Dr. Luís Infante is a General and Family Medicine physician with extensive experience in primary care, clinical coordination, and medical education. He obtained his Integrated Master’s Degree in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon.

He has broad clinical expertise in the management of complex patients with multimorbidity and polypharmacy, including elderly patients and individuals with chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and chronic respiratory diseases. His clinical practice also includes the assessment, treatment, and long-term follow-up of common mental health conditions, particularly anxiety and depression.

Dr. Luis Infante has significant experience in women’s health, including family planning and antenatal care, as well as in the evaluation and management of common acute conditions, especially respiratory, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and cardiovascular disorders.

In addition to his clinical work, he has been actively involved in medical education and training, supporting medical students and junior doctors throughout different stages of their professional development. His professional background includes experience in primary care units, emergency services, hospital-based care, and private healthcare settings.

He has completed multiple postgraduate and advanced training programs in areas such as quality management in healthcare, management of small health units, travel medicine, cardiovascular medicine, diabetes, neurology, and basic life support with defibrillation.
