A word from our clinical director

“

Dear patients,

It's a pleasure to welcome you to this September edition of our newsletter. Launching our new Czechia website is just a first step. Over the coming months we'll keep expanding our team of doctors and our range of consultations, so that Global Health care reaches as many patients as possible, including the many foreigners living in our country.

Our goal isn't only to resolve a single health concern, but to build a long-term relationship with you built on trust: a doctor who knows your history, and a team you can rely on whether you need a routine consultation, a prescription or a specialist opinion.

Thank you for placing your care in the hands of Global Health. We look forward to caring for you and your family.

Dr Vojtěch Černý

Clinical Director, Global Health Czechia · Registered with the Czech Medical Chamber (ČLK)

Online GP

See a GP online, from the comfort of home

Why spend hours in a waiting room? With Global Health you connect with certified, registered doctors in Czechia who speak Czech, English, Arabic and other languages, in minutes, from anywhere.

Here's how it works:

  1. The doctor assesses you over video and, where clinically appropriate, prescribes medication as an eRecept, an electronic prescription you can collect at any pharmacy.
  2. If tests are needed, the doctor can issue a referral for lab work or imaging.
  3. Your results are uploaded to your patient file, ready to review together at your follow-up consultation.

For foreigners in Czechia

Healthcare in your language

Czechia is home to a large community of foreigners, for whom the local healthcare system and language barriers can stand in the way of getting care. Our doctors consult in English, Arabic and other languages, so you can explain what's wrong clearly and without stress, while still receiving full care from registered Czech doctors.

High blood pressure in Czechia

High blood pressure (hypertension) affects an estimated 41.5% of adults aged 25 to 64 in Czechia, and in 2025 more than 1.31 million VZP-insured patients were treated for it. Most people feel nothing, and symptoms often appear only after years. Yet lowering systolic pressure by just 10 mmHg cuts stroke risk by roughly 27%.

Clinically reviewed by Dr Ahmed Maklad, a doctor collaborating with Global Health.
