Dr. Ahmed Maklad, M.D.

Dr. Ahmed Maklad is a highly qualified and dedicated physician with extensive clinical training in various specializations, including surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, and general practice. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree (M.D.) from the Medical Faculty of Masaryk University.

He is currently completing his surgical residency training at Brno University Hospital, where he actively participates in acute and elective surgeries, preoperative and postoperative care, and management of trauma cases. Through practical experience in operating rooms and intensive care units, he has developed exceptional skills in surgical procedures and critical patient management.

In addition to his surgical specialization, Dr. Maklad has worked as a general practitioner at Ghouraba GP Clinic in Cairo, Egypt, where he cared for a wide range of chronic diseases, including diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory conditions, with an emphasis on patient-centered care and long-term treatment.

His clinical rotations at Brno University Hospital have provided him with a strong foundation in internal medicine (cardiology, gastroenterology, pneumology, hematology-oncology), geriatrics, pediatrics, and obstetrics and gynecology, enabling him to provide comprehensive and multidisciplinary medical care. His experience in geriatrics and palliative care has further enhanced his ability to manage complex medical cases with empathy and efficiency.

Dr. Maklad holds certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association, which attests to his expertise in managing acute medical emergencies.
