Dr. Abdelrahman Mustafa is a highly experienced General Practitioner and Emergency Medicine physician, currently practicing in Ireland and fully registered with the Irish Medical Council. He brings more than a decade of clinical experience delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across diverse healthcare systems in both Europe and the Middle East.

Dr. Mustafa currently works as a Medical Officer at Laya Health & Wellbeing Clinic in Galway, where he conducts comprehensive patient assessments, develops individualized treatment plans, provides preventive care, performs routine clinical procedures, and collaborates closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. He has also served as an Emergency Medicine Registrar and Senior House Officer at Mayo University Hospital, managing acutely ill patients, performing emergency procedures, supervising junior staff, and participating in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.

Prior to relocating to Ireland, Dr. Mustafa practiced extensively as a General Practitioner in Sudan, delivering comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, managing both acute conditions and chronic diseases, and providing frontline emergency and urgent care services. His clinical background includes structured postgraduate training through a Master of Science in Family Medicine, with rotational experience across internal medicine, pediatrics, emergency medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, psychiatry, dermatology, ENT, and ophthalmology.

Dr. Mustafa holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) and is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Immediate Life Support (ILS Instructor). His clinical skills include emergency care, advanced cardiac life support, pediatric care, catheterization, cannulation, and comprehensive clinical assessment. He is fluent in Arabic and proficient in English, enabling him to communicate effectively with a diverse international patient population.
